Friday Favs: Number 1

Hey everyone! I'm going to try a new thing today called "Friday Favs"! I just wanted to share with you all a few random things that I'm really loving right now. Let me know if you like it...okay, darlings? If so, I'll make it a weekly or bi-weekly thing :)

1) Shoes with words on them! Seriously, I'm obsessed! The pair above has easily become my new favorite pair of news. I love that a lot of designers are stores and adding the graphic element of typography to fashion. In a text message and social media driven world, it only makes sense to integrate them into fashion, too. Here are some of my favorites....

2) Lavender in my food. Normally, lavender is reserved for candles, bath salts, and body lotions...but I'm actually really loving the taste of lavender in some foods/snacks right now. Jeni's Ice Cream has an amazing lavender frozen yogurt that I highly recommend. Plus how amazing is this iced lavender white mocha recipe?! Someone come make me one everyday for breakfast.

3) All things colorful. I've been super into vibrant color lately. You can see how I've been playing with it on my Instagram. I've started using the A Color Story editing app, which has helped make my photos so much more vivid and bright. When looking for color inspiration, I turn to some of my favorite instagram accounts: StudioDIY, Aww.Sam, and JenniferLake.

4) Industrial decor. It's normally not my taste, but ever since Drew moved in...I've started to love it more. Normally I like the idea of vintage/contemporary against an industrial background, but I've actually been loving industrial decor just by itself lately. Here are a few of my favorites:

So...what did you think of the Friday favorites? Is it something you'd like to see more of?
