Hey boss babes! So as many of you already know, I'm the kind of person who needs to be doing something all the time. I don't like "wasted time" where I feel like nothing is getting accomplished...especially if I end up having a break in a busy day. I like to keep the momentum of the productivity going. For me, breaks in a busy day often mean transit...riding the bus, taking the train, getting to and from different things I have going on that day such as meetings and going to the gym (aka...Pure Barre). Luckily, I recently attended a conference that the Windy City Blogging Collective was hosting where I had the pleasure of hearing Amanda Boleyn, the founder and host of the She Did It Her Way podcast speak about this amazing venture.

She Did It Her Way is a podcast dedicated to female entrepreneurs. SDIHW interviews a different female entrepreneur and creative hustler each week to find out more about their life, what makes them tick, and any business (& life!) advice they can give to other boss babes out there like yourself! "THIS IS PERFECT," I thought when I was listening to Amanda speak. I had finally found the answer to my "lost time". Many of you already know I'm a huge reader and love reading about other boss babes (see: BOSS BABE BOOK CLUB), but I actually get car sick...so reading on the bus or train was out of the question. Plus I live in a city, so I actually walk a lot of places...and I don't know about you, but I can barely text and walk let alone try to read a book.
Now, I have something I can listen to! Listening to SDIHW during what used to be the "wasted time" keeps me focused on the productivity of the day. I always finish each episode feeling incredibly inspired by these women. They make me want to go out and keep hustling for what I do/have! Staying in a state of mind like that is perfect for #buildingmyempire.
So boss babes, if you're looking for something new to listen to or if all of the BBBC books aren't enough, I highly suggest bopping over to iTunes and listening to a few SDIHW episodes. They are usually about 45 min and they are all completely free. She Did It Her Way already has a lot of interviews available so it's perfect for even listening to in the car on a long drive! Start at the beginning and get ready to feel so inspired and motivated by all of these kick ass women!
