We've been having some amazing 40 degree weather here in Chicago! I don't want to jinx it and say it feels like the beginning of spring....but at least it doesn't feel like the usual frigid weather. I've been able to ditch the big coats for lighter weight puffer vests and sweaters.
I didn't want to bust out too many of the bright spring colors yet, so I kept things a little winter/fall with the burgundy tones and black and white. I absolutely fell in love with this southwest print vest the moment I found it, and I was so excited to get to be able to wear it since the weather has been so nice. The pattern reminds me of my Texas roots, and adds a pattern play to the otherwise simple look.
I wanted to play up the look and be able to take it into the evening with a classy arm party and adorable black booties.
