Style Session: Striped + Bow Palazzo Pants

I'm once again all Akria-ed out! Yeah...I tend to shop there a lot. But honestly it's because I am in loooooove with my darling wonderful Bradley over at the Diversey location. He is an absolute doll and completely understands my Blair Waldorf obsession. You can often find him drinking his Diet Coke out of our Blair Waldorf travel mug. If you're ever in Chicago and looking for somewhere local to shop, head over the Diversey Akira and ask for Bradley or Elyssa. Tell them Lindzi sent you ;)

Anyways...I'm obsessed with palazzo pants and YAY they are HUGE this fall. I love how comfortable and loose they are, and they seem to add a "chicness" to every ensemble.

These black ones from Akira are my absolute favorite. From the length, to the bow sash, to the box pleat on the front...they are perfection. They make me look way taller (I have always wanted to be at least 6ft...I'm 5'7") and they feel incredible.

I really wanted to let the pants be the focus of attention, so I kept it simple on the top with a basic black and white vertical striped tank (yay for looking thinner!).

However, I still wanted to give the look some "pop", so I added some neon yellow heels under the black pants. My favorite thing about this is that you only see the yellow heels when I'm walking because the pants are so long. The secret yellow pops when I walk give the look a little more drama.

This look is perfect for a date night or summer cocktails. I wore it to a rooftop event. It allowed me to look professional and chic. I added a simple cutout black clutch and was ready to go!
