Style Session: Hues of Blue

I'm normally not a big fan of the "matchy matchy" look, but I wanted to play with it using this striped dress from Kate Spade. The dress has so many different hues of blue, that I wanted to incorporate blue into my heels and accessories.

I am seriously in love with this dress from Kate Spade. I snatched it up at the Kate Spade outlet store at an additional 60% off the already reduced outlet price. Amazing, right? I'm telling you guys, I am a bargin shopper! I love designer clothing, but as a small business owner trying to build my empire, I don't always have the funds for designer prices. I'm a big fan of upscale thrift stores, outlet stores, and discount shopping sites such as Gilt or Poshmark.

I continued with my play of blue with this statement necklace. It's hues of blue and green were different than that of the dress, making them just different enough that I didn't fall victim to the "matchy matchy" fashion no no.

Aren't these Louboutin's AMAZING? The best part is that I only paid $40 for them! I found them at a vintage popup shop. The previous owner only wore them on her wedding day as her "something blue", and then never wore them again; leaving them in perfect condition ready to be loved by me (and believe me, they are!)
