My Bachelorette Bedroom

So I'm really excited because in a couple of weeks I'm moving to a much bigger, nicer apartment. I'm going to be able to have my own actual office with a door (woot woot) and a balcony! Yay! But truth be told... I love my girly apartment that I have right now. It's so me and pretty!

Even though I'm super excited that my new place is going to be bigger and nicer...I'm also...*drumroll please* moving in with a boy... whaaaaat?!?! Crazy, right? I'm super crazy to get to move in with the man of my dreams (awwwww), but that also means that our new place won't be the ultra girly, frilly, polka dot covered bachelorette pad that my place is now. And that's okay :) I'm excited for this new decor challenge of blending our styles together to create something sophisticated and "totally us".

Before I start packing up for the big move, I realized I never share with you all my bachelorette bedroom from my current apartment. I've only been in this place for a year, so it's not entirely finished, but what is there is completely and totally me and something I really loved living in.

Similar to the rest of my place, I went for a color scheme of mint tones, gold, white, and light grey.

What bedroom would be complete without my sweet little beagle puppy?

Beagle not for sale ;)
Both my nightstands are my dresser are thrifted DIY projects.

I like having a little couch over by my windows. It's the perfect place to sit, relax, and have coffee in the morning to get my day started.

I'm going to miss my girly, ruffly bedroom....but I'm so excited to get to move into my new place. Pretty soon you will get to see the new (slightly more masculine) place that I am sure I will love equally as much!

  1. I love your record player! Ever since I was little I've always wanted a record player, so I'm totally jealous right now! I love the overall design of your room, the colors are so pretty and work really well together! Can't wait to see what you do with your new apartment!

    1. Thanks so much! Urban Outfitters has a great selection of record players, but daily home decor deal sites such as Joss & Main constantly have them on sale! Thanks so much for your kind words about my apartment! I'm so thrilled to begin decorating the new space!
