I recently had the girls over for a little gal time/Galentine's day. I love giving little gifts to everyone, especially on the holidays. Gifts for my best ladies were a definite must! Who sales Valentine's Day has to only be a romantic holiday? Sometimes the love between your girlfriends is an even stronger bond! I wanted to put together a cute little gift bag that would be special, thoughtful, and didn't break the bank. Using a few items I was able to pick up at my local Walgreens, I was able to put together a chic little bag of love.
Here's what you need: (makes 4 gift bags)
- Gift bags (these adorable heart bags were $1)
- Heart Shaped Ring Pops (3 for $1)
- Sweetheart Conversation Candies (4 for $1)
- Nail Polish (Essie Polishes for $8.50 each)
- Wine!! (This is a must! Mini bottles were 2 for $3)
- Festive Paper Straws (10 for $1)
- Washi Tape ($1 a roll)
- Gift Tags (created/printed mine at home)
I just love all of the beautiful and festive colors of Valentine's Day! Aren't these so pretty??
When the girls come over for girl's night, we almost always end up drinking wine and painting our nails. Everyone brings all of their colors for us to share/choose from. This is why I decided to get everyone a different color. That way when everyone comes over, we have more to share/choose from.
Polish Colors: Bump up the Pumps // Jump in my Jumpsuit // Mod Square // Haute in the Heat
For a little extra sass, I used some chevron washi tape to stick some red striped paper straws to the side of the mini wine bottles. Because who doesn't love wine they can sip with a straw??
All of the items fit in nicely in the bag. I kept the wine in the refrigerator and added them to the bags right before the girls came over so that they would still be chilled.
For gift tags, I created my own. I wanted to create something simple that I could write on to customized. I added little notes inside the hearts for each girl. You can download my gift tags here.
I hope that you enjoy making your own bags for the most fabulous ladies you know!
