10 Creative Ways to Use Mason Jars at Your Wedding

Mason jars are great for any festivity, but especially for weddings! They are extremely versatile and inexpensive. Mason jars are fantastic for rustic inspired weddings and Southern weddings, but I think they look great with other wedding themes as well including vintage weddings and chic weddings. The great news is that while it used to be that you could only find mason jars by eating copious amounts of jam, you can now easily buy large orders of mason jars online at wholesale prices. I wanted to share with you my 10 favorite ways to use mason jars in your wedding. Which one is your favorite?

1. Standard Drinking Use - Of course, mason jars are great for drinking punches and other liquids. Just because there are lots of creative ways to use mason jars doesn't mean you have to ignore their standard use.

2. To hold desserts for guests to eat at the wedding or take some as favors. This adorable wedding used mason jars to hold mini red velvet cupcakes.

3. Use them to hold flowers on the ends of the chairs down the aisle. It's a great way to add flowers to the aisle without overdoing it.

4. Use mason jars to distribute a single serving of ice cream. This would be so cute for a hot summer day (especially in the South). Serving ice cream in the heat can be such a pain and super sticky, but these cute mason jars allow the ice cream to stay cold. Guests can just grab a jar full of ice cream to take back to their table. No fuss and especially no mess.

5. To hold straws - another idea would be to hold silverware. Basically use can use mason jars to hold lots of different things that would be otherwise loose. They add elegance to organization.

6. Fashion together some adorable mason jar chandeliers

7. Vintage inspired centerpieces to hold flowers. I love these gorgeous hydrangeas.

8. Another twist on the centerpiece - use mason jars to hold floating tea light candles.

9. Use them to make a wedding day emergency kit! How clever! This would be great to give to the bride and all of the bridesmaids. Hey now, acne comes at the worst times! You'll be glad you had your adorable mason jar emergency kit!

10. To hold the bubbly - Use the mason jars to hold champagne! It's a cute rustic and Southern twist on the champagne glass.
